Audience Feedback
Feedback on rough draft: The people I asked questions to was Pravini, Afsarah and Zayna.
The questions I asked were:
What do you think of my idents?
Is there anything else we can add to my idents?
Do you understand the concept of my idents?
Can you see the idents clearly?
What do you think about the actors in these idents?
Afsarah said that my balloon ident that the camera was not in focus and the angle of how I took the shot wasn't ideal and that most of the time she just saw me putting the balloons on Areeba and not the actual ident, so she was confused on what the ident was about. Afsarah also said that the ident needs to have a bit more enthusiasm since I am trying to recreate an ident ITV 2 would have. Afsarah said that if I also add fun up-beat music that it would make my ident more entertaining.
Zayna also said that she was a bit confused about what the ident was about. she also said that Areeba kept looking at the floor while recording while she came out of the balloon and not looking at the camera which is what she was supposed to do and said it would look better if she looks at the camera while coming out of the balloons. Zayna also said to add more balloons so that it looks more appealing to the audience.
Simona suggested that there should be a closeup on the balloons so that it doesn't show a lot of the cupboard because the balloons are supposed be filling up the cupboard with the person in it and that it would look more amusing if it looks like there's more balloons in there. Simona also mentioned that the camera wasn't really focus so it looked like the video was a little bit blurry, so if I put focus the camera my balloon ident would look better. For my other ident she also said that to crop a little from the bottom of the ident because you could mostly see the bed. Simona also pointed out that in some bits the ghosts head wasn't showing the head.

Work plan
My aim is to finish two 30 second idents. I would need to use my time wisely to get the best quality of work. I would be using my lessons in school to go film my tv idents. I will then film all the parts of my ident. When editing i would need to find music and sound effects for my ITV 2 ident or i'll have to make foley sounds.
Week 1: get all the equipment and props ready, Areeba is blowing the red balloon and throwing it to zayna and then the balloon bursts.
Week 2: i will get glow sticks and be in a dark room and make ITV 2 with it.
Week 3: i will be putting all my work in final cut pro and start editing them.
Week 4: i will complete my ident and receive audience feedback with it.
Week 5: will use the audience feedback and do any changes that need to be done.
Week 6: Start my evaluation.
Week 7: Finish anything that needs to be finished
Contingency
I will be filming in school and at home. I will borrow equipment with permission from the school and take it home. My backup location if i can't film in my house would be the classroom. I will with the other people that will take place in the ident for e.g. Areeba but if Areeba can't make it my backup is Zayna or Simona.
The props i will be needing for this ident is a camera with a tripod, a red balloon and glow sticks.
I will then edit my ident using final cut pro.

Launch Date
This TV ident will be released next year because ITV 2 has had the same idents for years so it would be nice to have a different ident in the new year. This would attract the audience because the Tv ident is fun and help people enjoy watching the ident while they wait for what programme they want to watch. It also relates the programmes that are on ITV 2 for e.g., like Love Island which is fun and lively to entertain younger audiences.

Treatment
Freeview has approached me to 'refresh' the ident cycle for one of their channels. They are targeting channels like ITV 2 that will have a clear personality that reflects the channel, its audience and content.
The purpose of my ident is so that I can clearly show the personality of the ident. I can also sell the channel so that it gets more views from the audience.
For my ident I have chosen to rebrand ITV 2. Since ITV 2 always has fun TV idents for e.g., the tea spilling on all the teacups. There would be one person blowing the balloon up then playing with it, with the other person. Then it would suddenly pop and also would have the name of the Channel (ITV 2) halfway through the ident.
The music would be upbeat and dramatic with fast editing cuts that the ident is going to show. My target audience is 16–34-year-olds and this will appeal to them because the ident will have humour and fun scenes so that it can make the audience laugh while they are waiting for their favourite programme to come on.
The medium I will be working in is live action because I am going to be using real life people that are doing activities.
I will be making two 30 second TV ident. The first one as i said is going to be someone blowing up the red balloon, playing with it with another person then it would pop. The second ident is going to be glow in the dark glow sticks that says ITV 2 on it.

ITV 2
ITV 2 airs programmes like reality-shows for e.g., Dress to impress which is a reality dating programme, comedy programmes like Bad chefs and also adults animated shows like Bob's burger's which has some adult humour
ITV 2's targeted audience are 16–34-year-olds because there's animated shows with dark humour and reality dating programmes which isn't suitable for children or older generations.
ITV 2 has a fun personality that's targeted towards younger audiences. The ITV 2 ident is lively and colourful for the audience that are watching. The tea splashing on the teacups is very fun and prank because they are not trying to make it perfect. ITV 2 is more relatable and modern for the audience that is targeted to so that they can enjoy what they would like to watch.
This is an example of an ITV ident:
The overall purpose for this ident is so that the audience can know when the programme is starting or ending. The colour scheme in this TV ident is very colourful and aesthetic. Animation which will also make the audience look forward to what programme is coming up next since this TV ident indicates that a programme is about to come on.
Channel 4
Channel 4 airs programmes like cooking shows (Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares USA) and comedies like The big bang theory.
Channel 4's targeted audiences are young adults aged between 18–30-year-olds because the shows are because it has more mature content that teenagers and children wouldn't be interested in like Come dine with me which is about amateur chefs that host a three-course dinner party.
Channel 4's personality is more realistic and serious because it has a lot of daily news, which is a reward winning news channel and what they are known for because of its seriousness and also reality shows but not the kind of reality show like ITV 2 which is more youthful.

P1 - defining audio visual programmes
Audio visual - means a product that contains visual imagery or sound. Audio visual promos are important tools that are used in media companies. An audio visual is released in advance of the new products launch dates to educate, inform, and entertain the audience and to also release sales of the final product being released or launched.
Before the new products are launched, companies would rely on these promotions so that it gains interest in a new product. Getting a promo right can have a significant impact on the interest of the new product.
Audio visual promos can be: music promos, trailers for a movie, Tv programmes, games, animations, TV ident.
Information - Audio visuals are used to provide information to the target audience regarding the final product.
Music promos - are short audio visual representations that are constructed to accompany a song released by a solo artist or band.
Educate - Audio visuals can also educate the audience because they provide key information that is relevant to the final product.
Entertain - Audio visuals are important for the release of a new film. They provide entertainment in their own way as they provide escapism for others.
Sell products - it also helps selling products by creating an interest among the target audience for the product.
Trailer for a film/Tv programme/animation/game - There are two types of trailers. A teaser trailer is the first stage of an advertising campaign. It will be released in advance for the film/TV programme/animation/game. A teaser trailer is usually scheduled nearer the release date of a trailer. A trailer is longer than a teaser trailer. Trailers use key elements of the final product.
Tv idents - Tv ident is a short audio visual sequence that is played for a bit before the show begins, which tells the audience what channel they are watching.
